Getting Started Is Easy:

Soak your seeds in water for 24 hours. After they have soaked, place the seeds in one inch of good quality potting soil, keeping the skin on the bean, and taking care that the round top of the bean is partially exposed.

Keep the soil moist, but not saturated.

Your seeds will take three to six weeks to sprout. (If you wish, you can pre-germinate your seeds in damp vermiculite or sand and transplant to soil once they sprout a taproot or begin to rise).

Post-germination:

Water daily. The soil should remain moist but well-drained at all times.

Transplant your seedlings into individual larger pots after they grow three sets of leaves from the main stalk.

Your plants will continue growing in well-drained poting soil.

Coffee House Plant Care:

Ideal growing conditions include:

  • Regular watering, quarterly fertilizing.
  • Temperature range between 65-85°
  • Morning sun, afternoon shade.
  • Report as needed to stimulate growth and avoid becoming root-bound.

If set outdoors, avoid temperatures below 50°, high wind, or sunburn. Transplant your seedlings into individual larger pots after they grow three sets of leaves from the main stalk.

Your plants will continue growing in well-drained poting soil.

You will have a beautiful houseplant for years to come. Mahalo and Aloha!
